Event Recap | Continuus HQ Grand Opening Celebration

  • March 28, 2019

Return to Resources

As we close out Q1, we wanted to take a minute to reflect on our Open House and how exciting it feels to have one full quarter with a real, physical office under our belt!

With consultants working around the country – and the world, for that matter – there was a never a pressing need for a brick and mortar location. However, as we continued to grow our team with more and more experts with Milwaukee roots, it simultaneously became more and more apparent that we needed somewhere to congregate in order to build camaraderie and continue our growth.

On January 1, 2019, Continuus Technologies officially moved into 301 N Broadway, Suite 204, in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. Our industrial-style office features beautiful glass walls, windows overlooking the bustling Broadway sidewalks, and exposed Cream City brick throughout.

With the help of Forrer Business Interiors, we were able to design and bring our office to life over the first couple months of the year and couldn’t wait to gather there with our clients, partners, and other local professionals both within and outside of our industry.

Lucky for us (😉☘️), we found an opening in our calendars right before St. Patrick’s Day, and we took full advantage. On Thursday, March 14, Continuus and our office-mate, Rebecca Heidepriem, opened our doors to our clients, partners, friends, family, and neighbors to help us break in the space. Complete with an Irish folk playlist, a fridge full of Guinness, and plenty of added green décor, our Irish-themed open house was a blast. We even took it up a notch with a special performance from four Irish dancers from the Trinity Irish Dancers, who are preparing to compete in the World Championships in April. Our guests also enjoyed a smorgasbord of Irish-themed appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Simple Eats MKE throughout the evening, including Irish beef stew, mini twice baked red potatoes, and brownies smothered in a Bailey’s Irish Cream drizzle. We’ve said it a handful of times already, but we just wanted to reiterate our thanks to all those who planned, attended, and contributed to the event. The evening wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Simple Eats MKE, the Trinity Irish Dancers, and Forrer Business Interiors, who not only have helped us design and furnish our entire office space but also provided extra amenities just to make sure our open house event went off without a hitch.

We have some exciting announcements regarding our office and events coming very soon, so stay tuned!
